Hamachi

This program is required to play Apprentice over the Internet.
Download it here: https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi2/download.aspx
Download the Unmanaged mode.

After you install it, click Network -> connect to existing network. Network name is "ShelburneNet", Password is "MTG"

After this, go to System -> Preferences -> change... and set it to your name.

Now, whenever you want to play someone, just right click there name and click Copy Address. in apprentice, go to File -> new game -> Connect via the internet -> OK -> Calling my oopponent at. in the blank, right click -> paste. Note that they will also have to go to new game, but select 'waiting for call' instead.
